Jam Donut @ Fairy Castle Food Truck
I got a big surprise when I went past the food truck which didn’t appear to have a name, but I’ve dubbed it the Fairy Castle Food Truck.
My surprise was that it had jam doughnuts – ones made right there, in the truck, ike a proper doughnut food truck.
Their sign said 5 for $10, but I only wanted one. No problems, $2.50 each.
And hey, it was pretty good.
It was warm, which you don’t often get with a jam doughnut.
It was well cooked and had a good amount of jam filling. It had a fair sugar coating.
For a corny looking food truck, their jam doughnut was alright.
In fact, it was probably the best doughnut I got at the Easter Show.
Well done Fairy Castle Food Truck.
By the way, they sold plain cinnamon doughnuts too, but I didn’t try them.
