Pretzels are cousins of doughnuts, so here’s a review of a pretzel – a sweet, soft, delicious pretzel.

I got it at The Pretzel Shop in Miranda. The Pretzel Shop is on the top level, outside Coles, same level as the fresh food. So the store misses out on some of the sit-down-and-eat traffic, which is on the level below.

Firstly, the customer service was excellent. I can’t tell you how much that makes the whole experience more enjoyable. It doesn’t have to be over-the-top “I’ll bleed for you because you are a customer”. It just has to be efficient.

Next came the pretzel. There are plenty to choose from. I prefer sweet and soft pretzels, so I got the cinnamon glaze. I love cinnamon glaze.

And it was delicious.

Loads of warm runny cinnamon glaze was poured over the top.

It got fairly hard to eat such a large sweet thing, but luckily I had a coffee to wash it down.

You don’t get many good doughnuts in Miranda, not in the Food Court area, so it’s good to have the pretzel option.

Give it a try.
