Last week, I wrote about being unable to buy an Oak Cinnamon Doughnut Flavoured Milk. Well, I finally got my hands on one.
I was tipped off that it wasn’t very good. But I was willing to give it a go so I could share my own opinion.
My honest opinion is that it’s okay, with a big exception. It doesn’t taste like a cinnamon doughnut.

It tastes like a malt flavoured milk.
As a way of comparison, I bought an Oak Vanilla Malt Flavoured Milk. They tasted a heck of a lot similar.
I checked the ingredients to see if cinnamon was listed. The list was a bit vague – milk, skim milk, sugar, colour (150d), flavour.
Not very helpful.
‘Flavour’ could be anything.

If there were little specks of cinnamon through it I’d be more willing to accept it as ‘Cinnamon Doughnut Flavoured’. But there was nothing like that in it.
It reminds me of a product I have already reviewed – Bulla Cinnamon Flavoured Ice Creams. Which don’t taste anything like cinnamon doughnuts either.
What’s going on in the world?
Next we’ll have cinnamon doughnuts that don’t taste like cinnamon doughnuts.

Before I finish, I want to point out that while I don’t care how you spell doughnut/donut, at least keep in consistent.
I always spell it ‘doughnut’ unless I’m using a product name where it is specifically ‘donut’.
On the carton of Oak Cinnamon Doughnut Flavoured Milk, they have used both spellings. Come on guys. Get your act together.
