The Walker’s Doughnuts website is in construction at the moment, so I don’t have a great deal of info to share with you in this review.
Like any responsible parent, I insisted my daughters find some doughnuts while they were in Melbourne. They came across the Walker’s Doughnuts Melbourne CBD store on the corner of Elizabeth and Flinders.
Walker’s Doughnuts has several popular outlets in Melbourne, and it appears they are looking to expand the franchise.
I’ll let the photos do the talking for the range and display, which look damn good. There doesn’t appear to be too many gourmet varieties – mainly good ole fashioned favourites.
My girls got two doughnuts – jamball with icing sugar and blueberry custard crumble.
Here’s what one of my daughters sent me via text after gulping down those delicious treats:
They were so good.
The dough has a crunch to it and the filling is so light and the flavour is frikin magnifical.
I queried the precise meaning of “frikin magnifical”, and apparently it means something like “rather delicious”.
