There’s a bakery in Queensland that I’ve had my eye on (via social media). It’s the Kenilworth Country Bakery in Kenilworth, Queensland.
If, like me, you had no idea where Kenilworth is, I can tell you it’s about 20kms south-east of Noosa on the Sunshine Coast.
Now I want to tell you why I’ve had my eye on this particular bakery…
…they have a 1kg Donut Challenge. You probably already knew that because it was in the headline to this article, but every time I hear it I just want to take up that challenge. It sure sounds better than a push-up challenge. Or an ice-bucket challenge (remember that?)

You can choose the flavour of doughnut you want. Flavours are: Jam, Custard, Nutella and Beesting. Vegan and Gluten Free options are available.
You have to book ahead to take up the challenge. Be a glutton and down the whole beast and you’ll be rewarded with your money back and your name on the wall like that guy used to get on that show Man Vs Food.

Kenilworth Country Bakery also has the Coffee In A Donut. Good grief, these people are to doughnuts what Steve Jobs was to Apple.

If you’ve been to Kenilworth Country Bakery, please let me know.
By the way, none of the images in this article were taken by me. They are all screen shots from the Kenilworth Country Bakery website and Facebook page.
