You know what it’s like… you’re running late for work, rushing for the train, when out of the corner of your eye you spot a store selling fresh cinnamon doughnuts. Next train will be okay.
I wonder how many people have done that at Rockdale Station.
CJT is a little coffee and doughnut joint at the top entrance to Rockdale train station. It’s only a small shop with a few pastries as well as the doughnuts.
By the way, I have no idea what CJT stands for.
Typically for little coffee and doughnut joint, it has virtually no presence o the internet.
I got a couple of cinnamon doughnuts (didn’t get a coffee).
They were alright without being outstanding. I looked around to see if there was a doughnut maker there to see if the guy fries them up himself, but I didn’t spot one.
The good thing is that I am sure the doughnuts would be fresh every day.
The other good thing is that it seems to be the only place in Rockdale where you can get doughnuts. Alexander’s Bakery is in Rockdale, but when I went past, there was practically nothing in the display case.
There are lots of little cafes in Rockdale, I think many are Macedonian. They have good sweets, but no doughnuts.
So CJT Rockdale Station it is.
