It was brought to my attention the other day that a place called Butter has concocted a way to serve fried chicken and doughnuts.
I’ve never been inside Butter at Surry Hills or Parramatta, but it appears to be a fashion store with a diner/bar.
To use their words:
Butter is a hybrid sneaker, fried chicken and champagne bar in Surry Hills and Parramatta, Sydney.
Quite an odd mix of offerings, but if you ever have the need for a pair of sneakers and some chicken with champagne, you’ve found your spot. Especially if you want chicken and a hot doughnut served together.
Clearly, they’re not afraid to use sex to sell their stuff – the picture below is from the cover of their menu.
I don’t think I fit the demographic of Butter, so I’ll have to leave it to you to discover this place for yourself. If you do, let me know what you think, especially of the Fried Chicken & Donut.
