On my recent visit to The Tramsheds in Sydney, I got a coupe of donuts from a new store there called Donut Jam.
The one I got, Passionfruit Cheesecake Donut, is from their Premium Filled Donuts selection. I could easily have chosen others because many of them sounded very good, but I went with the Passionfruit Cheesecake Donut.

It was made to order, so I had to wait about 5 minutes. Not a problem – I prefer a freshly made donut to one that has been sitting in a display case for hours. With things like cream and cheesecake toppings, they harden and spoil very quickly. So being made to order is a huge plus.
The Passionfruit Cheesecake Donut was a delicious donut.

I expected the cheesecake to be inside the donut, but instead, the passionfruit was inside and the cheesecake was on top. There was also some passionfruit on top of the cheesecake blob.
The passionfruit was a thick gelatinous consistency, not too sweet and full of flavour.

The cheesecake was not very sweet at all and was thick enough to sit comfortably on top of the donut.
Sometimes donuts with lots of added flavours are too sweet and over the top, but the combination of flavours with this donut was very nice. I think I made a good decision.
The dough was bread-like and held everything together well.

There are lots of donut options to choose from at Donut Jam. I hope to go back again soon and try other flavours.
