Who can resist a hot jam doughnut? I’d say no one with normal, rational human feelings and emotions.
My daughter went to Preston Market in Melbourne and followed the sweet smell of hot jam doughnuts to the Hot Jam Donuts food truck.

It was just at the start of the worldwide COVID meltdown and, while the markets were open, there weren’t many people around.
I’m happy to say the doughnuts were free from any virus.
But they weren’t free of deliciousness. Which is a pretty weird way of saying they were very good.

It’s one of life’s pleasures – being able to buy a freshly made, hot-off-the-press doughnut.

Let’s hope it isn’t too long before we can all get back to those things we once took for granted.
