Doughnuts, but nothing special @ Warrnambool, Victoria

Warrnambool marks the start of the Great Ocean Road at the western end.

While I can’t really gush too much about Warrnambool, I will say the Great Ocean Road is nothing short of spectacular.

In Warrnambool, my family and I made a whistle stop for groceries. A Brumby’s Bakery was in a small shopping mall. They had a few doughnuts, but nothing jumped out and said, “Buy me, mate, ’cause you’re gonna need sustenance as you tackle the Great Ocean Road”.

The Coles next door had some of their usual doughnut stocks – Mr Donut, plus some made at the Coles Bakery. I didn’t get any of those either.

I was hoping that at its very doorstep, the Great Ocean Road wasn’t going to disappoint me with its range of doughnuts.

The journey continues…. Next stop, Timboon.
