The last place you’d expect to buy doughnuts is in a pub near the end of Blues Point Road in McMahons Point.
Blues Point Hotel (the big sign has apostrophe which shouldn’t be there) includes Italian Doughnuts on their dine-in menu.
They have the good taste to offer doughnuts that are of the Italian variety, which they serve with chocolate dipping sauce.
I always get a good meal at this place. And the doughnuts turned out to be no exception.

Being Italian Doughnuts, they are dense, heavy, oily and delicious.
Served warm and with a good coating of cinnamon sugar plus chocolate sauce drizzled on top, they’re tasty and make a good ending to a pub lunch.

There is no shortage of eating options in McMahons Point and North Sydney. Try Blues Point Hotel for one of the better ones. It gets busy at lunchtime so book a table.
