Is there anywhere more over-rated than The Grounds Of Alexandria?
Perhaps Stonehenge. There’s not much going on there except some ancient stones in a distant field that nobody can explain.
The Grounds Of Alexandria is cluttered, crowded, confusing, unwelcoming, and that’s when it’s not even busy. The signage is dreadful. There always seem to be queues, despite hardly anyone being there. And the doughnut cart is abandoned.
And I feel sorry for that big pig in the pen.
I can only guess the food is good.
