If you run out of ideas, take someone else’s and improve upon it.

This seems to be the strategy that brought about 85o Daily Café, a chain of cafés popping up around the place. Because if you weren’t paying attention, you’d swear Bread Top put in a café and iced tea shop.

All the food is kept in help-yourselves shelves, like Breadtop.

I’m really disappointed as a Category 8 Germaphobe, that food is allowed to be sold in this way, where anyone, with anything, can touch, prod and generally finger the food, not to mention cough, sneeze, spit and puke all over it as well.

Needless to say, I won’t buy food from 85o Daily Café.

I walked into one at Redfern. It must be new, so new that their website doesn’t even list it yet. Actually, their website is dreadful.

One poor young girl was on her own and doing all the work, including making me an iced tea with orange, while a line of people started to form.

As my pictures show, you can get a few variations of doughnuts at 85o Daily Café.

So if you like that sort of thing, go for it.
