Grumpy Donuts at Camperdown makes some of Sydney’s best doughnuts.
They recently opened a second outlet in Marrickville.
I had their Vanilla Custard Doughnut.
The custard is clearly homemade, which is a winner for me. It’s not too sweet and is a very good consistency for a doughnut filling. It was very soft and creamy.
It had a good coating of soft sugar around the outside of the doughnut.
Their outlet at Camperdown is a little bit difficult to get to if you don’t live nearby. So I’m pleased they have opened in Marrickville as well.
If you’ve never had a doughnut from Grumpys, make sure you give them a try. The doughnuts are very good.
They have lots of flavour options as well as vegan and (almost) gluten-free varieties.
