It seems the whole world knows Australia is burning.

It’s a dreadful time with bushfires destroying a huge part of this country, homes, people, families, businesses, not to mention our extraordinary wildlife.

Lots of companies and individuals are going above and beyond to help.

In the doughnut world…

Nutie Donuts has been a drop-off point for the collection of goods. That is an amazing offer. And going by their Facebook page, they have received an enormous amount of donations.

Krispy Kreme is also coming to the party with this from their website:
In response to the devastation we are pledging to donate 100% of revenue from all Original Glazed doughnuts sold on Saturday 11th January across our retail stores in NSW, QLD, VIC and WA to bushfire relief.

If I spot any contributions from other doughnut establishments, I’ll add them here.

In Sydney, we have been spared the fires – it’s been smoky but we can count our blessings. Let’s hope it’s over soon.

Additions:

Milk Bar by Cafe Ish is doing their part. This is on their Facebook page:
$5 from every burger sold in house and $2 from every burger sold via our delivery partners this Sunday 12th January will go to @nswrfs who are risking their lives everyday to save families and their homes.

Grumpy Donuts is donating profits taken on the first day back from their Christmas break – 8th January, 2020:
Tomorrow is our first day back from our break and we’ll be donating 100% of our profits to @nswrfs and @wireswildliferescue – we’ll also be donating all our tips to the same place until this bushfire ends.
