Cinnamon and Caramel Cream Doughnuts @ Smiths Lake Bakehouse
My daughter took her friends to Forster for a break. They went for a drive and came to Smiths Lake where they spotted a bakery. Of course, they had to try the doughnuts.
They had filled doughnuts, as well as iced. My daughter got the plain cinnamon and a long john with caramel cream.
Well, my daughter was impressed. Not only were the doughnuts delicious and fresh, the people at the store were lovely too. Bonus!
You can see by the image that the caramel cream was filled with cream and had a strip of caramel along both sides. I can only imagine that it was as sweet as all get out.
True to form, Smiths Lake Bakehouse doesn’t have a website. Not even a social media presence. They put their energy into making great bakery foods, and you have to admire that.
