I consider the donuts at LA Donuts to be among Sydney’s best. What’s more, they are very reasonably priced. In fact, I doubt you’ll find similar donuts anywhere near the value of the donuts at LA Donuts.

On a recent visit, I got one of their Vanilla Slice Donuts. I’m quite sure that if I go back through the DomNuts archives, I have probably bought a Vanilla Slice Donut on every visit. The whole flavour combination appeals to me – passionfruit icing and custard filling.

And it’s a wonderful donut.

Soft and delicious, the custard isn’t too sweet, and is the perfect thickness for a donut.

The sweet icing caps off the flavour beautifully.

It’s a great donut.
