Engadine is a busy suburb in the south of Sydney, near the Royal National Park and Heathcote National Park.
While I was there, I checked out the bakeries for donuts. The first one I came to was a hot bread shop called Fresh Engadine Bakery. Like many hot bread shops, they had a few different donuts to choose from. I got a jam-filled one.

It was quite enjoyable.
It had a good coating of cinnamon sugar right around it, top and bottom.
The yellow dough was soft and chewy, and had a nice flavour.

It had a lot of jam filling. The filling was the commercial jam – not homemade, but that’s typical of hot bread shops where donuts aren’t a priority product.

There aren’t too many donut options in Engadine, but Fresh Engadine Bakery is a good choice.
