Some wonderful people I know got me a special Christmas gift – a box of 6 Brooklyn Christmas Donuts.
It was just a couple of days before Christmas, and as I write this after Christmas, they’re no longer available from Brooklyn Donuts. But hey, let me tell you a little about what you missed out on anyway.

Firstly, all 6 donuts were quite different. Here is the range with Brooklyn’s descriptions:
White Christmas: Filled with chantilly cream, dipped in smooth white chocolate, and topped with festive stars and sprinkles.

Gingerbread Man: Filled with spiced chantilly cream, coated in spiced Christmas glaze and crumble, and finished with a chocolate-moulded gingerbread man.

Reindeer: Dipped in silky milk chocolate and decorated with edible candies and pretzels to resemble the iconic red-nosed reindeer.

Snowman: Dipped in white chocolate, decorated with candy eyes and chocolate buttons, and topped with orange coloured thickened cream for the classic carrot nose.

Candy Cane: Dipped in dark chocolate and coated generously in crushed candy cane for the perfect blend of sweetness, crunch, and holiday nostalgia.

Christmas Gateau: Layered with Brooklyn Donut’s strawberry jam and plant-based whipped cream, and finished with pistachio pieces.

Which was my favourite?
I really liked the Christmas Gateau. It had a layer of tasty jam, and the pistachio pieces and cream topping added a nice touch. The dough was red, which I thought was going to be Red Velvet before I tasted it and then read the description.
Brooklyn Donuts are always lovely and fresh. The Christmas selection was a cute festive variation on their range. And thanks to my generous friends who gave me the box for Chrissy.
