Whenever I go to Roselands in Sydney’s Ssouth west, I can’t resist getting a donut from Franky & Co. They are pretty good and reasonably priced. And they usually have a cheap coffee offer too.

This time, I got a Passion Fruit Donut, mainly because they were the biggest. (I was about to ask for a Pineapple Donut, but I noticed that the ones at the back were somewhat smaller than the others, and that’s where mine would have been chosen from by the person serving me).

As usual, it was a good donut.

It was soft and fresh and a joy to eat.

The icing was good, but didn’t have a strong passion fruit zing to it.

And it was nice and large – a comment I probably wouldn’t be making if I’d chosen the Pineapple Donut.

At last count, there are 22 Franky & Co outlets in NSW. You won’t be disappointed with their donuts.
