I feel very sorry for the good people of Taree in New South Wales.

I went there searching for doughnuts and came up empty-handed.

There are doughnuts in Taree, but the choice is pretty bad.

I checked everywhere.

I checked all the local bakeries and bread shops – not that there were many to check, but I did get a lot of walking in.

Even the little Vietnamese bread shops that usually have some token doughnuts for kids didn’t have any.

There is a Donut King in one of the shopping centres. I’m not a fan of Donut King doughnuts.

And then I noticed a sign outside a Domino’s pizza shop, which was closed at the time. They had a poster out the front advertising special limited edition Giant Doughnuts. If you have to go to Domino’s for your doughnuts, it’s a pretty sorry situation.

So, people of Taree, I’m not sure how you live in a town with poor doughnut options, but I wish you all the best.
