The donuts at Franky & Co are reasonably priced and good value.
I got a Pineapple Donut from their store in the Roselands shopping centre in Sydney’s south.
They had plenty of options to choose from, and all were freshly made.
The Pineapple Donut had a good tangy flavour, standing up quite well against Pineapple Donuts from other stores. The glazing was nicely firm and gave the doughnut a good, solid coating.
The dough was soft and airy, and had a nice texture.
It was fairly similar to the Pineapple Donuts I used to get as a kid – the type many of us Sydney people endlessly search for these days.
Interestingly, all their signs advertise 5 donuts for $15, but they don’t have a sign saying how much just one donut is. They’re $4 each, by the way.
