Buying Cinnamon Donuts at Coles can be very hit and miss. Every store could be a little bit different and it seems every batch can also be different.

I got a bag of 6 Cinnamon Donuts from Coles recently. I was hoping I was there on a good Cinnamon Donut day. It turns out the lot I got were not as good as could be.

They were a touch over-cooked. Which is probably better than being under-cooked.

They also had a strong oily taste. Being deep-fried, there is always going to be an oily taste, but I felt it was just a little too strong on this occasion.

Apart from that, they were okay as far as your regular Cinnamon Donut goes. I’ve certainly had worse.

And the price is always reasonable.
