Daddy Donuts at Beverly Hills in Sydney’s south is fairly new. It is one of many eateries along busy King Georges Road in Beverly Hills.
They had many flavour options in the display case. This time I liked the look of the Pistachio Donut.
It is, to sum up in one word, sweet. Really sweet.
The icing had finely crushed pistachio nuts on top.
But it’s the filling that makes it very sweet.
The pale green filling is a sweet pistachio cream. The first bite is lovely. But after a while, I found it too sweet. There was a lot of it too.
The dough was very soft and fresh, and very easy to bite into.
I was impressed that they put their doughnuts in boxes to protect the presentation.
A lovely doughnut if you’re happy with super-sweet flavours.
