I guess Grumpy Donuts is avoiding use of the name ‘Homer Simpson’ for this doughnut so they don’t get into trouble. So they have gone with ‘Somer Himpson’ instead.

It has strawberry icing with rainbow sprinkles, just like the ones loved by Homer Simps… oops. I mean, just like your average Somer Himpson doughnut.

So that you know, I think Grumpy Donuts are one of the best makers of doughnuts in Sydney. Have a doughnut from Grumpy and you won’t want to go backwards.

And their Strawberry Somer Himpson is a classic.

The dough is perfect. Soft, chewy, and cooked to absolute perfection. It’s the ideal base for their range of icings and toppings.

The icing is how doughnut icing should be – soft, not runny and able to cling to the doughnut.
