Bottega Manly is a restaurant with some delicious Italian foods.
My daughter recently went there and brought me home a Jam Doughnut.
I’m pleased to say it was a delicious doughnut.
The dough was fresh, firm and chewy. Very good.
But what really makes or breaks these things is the quality of the jam.
The jam was lovely – possibly homemade. It was dark and rich raspberry jam that didn’t have many seeds but was not that puree that you find in many other jam doughnuts.
The flavour and consistency was perfect, going beautifully with the dough. And there was plenty of it.
Bottega doesn’t seem to have a website – only social media sites.
