So, there I was at the Sydney Cricket Ground, watching the Sydney Sixers in Big Bash 13, when I decided I’d have some doughnuts. I had passed the stand many times on previous visits, but I thought this was the time to try them.

To be honest, I didn’t have a lot of faith in them. That’s why I had never bought them before.

As a side note, you can also buy Krispy Kreme Doughnuts at the Sydney Cricket Ground, as well as other sporting venues.

The cinnamon doughnuts were $3 each. I decided I’d have 3. The lady said for $10 I could have 4. Good upselling. I went with 4 for $10.

They were as I expected. Not quite right. Not quite as good as other cinnamon doughnuts.

They were thin instead of being nice and plump. They didn’t have much of a covering in cinnamon sugar – definitely could have used more. They had a slightly crispy shell, which is nice, but also had a significant oily after-taste.

All up, they were okay. I mean, at the cricket, you hardly expect to have the most life-changing cinnamon doughnuts.
