LAB Bakery Cafe is a chain cropping up around Sydney. The one I went to was in Parramatta Westfield. Strangely, while they have a bakery and cafe on Level 1, they also have a small shop just below it on the Ground Level in the Food Court.

They sell twisted donuts packaged in plastic. Hygienic but not environmentally friendly – sometimes you just can’t win. You just go to the display and help yourself. There are plenty of other options.

Being twisted almost qualifies them as soft pretzels.

The Twisted Donut was very oily. It was fresh, soft, very chewy. It wasn’t too sweet . Overall, it was okay without being outstanding. If you want something plain to go with a coffee, the Twisted Donut is not a bad option.

By the way, they need to do a bit of work on their website. If you click on products, it comes up as no products matching that search.
