Roselands is just down the road from Hurstville in Sydney’s south. The shopping centre has been there since the 1960s, and is one of the oldest in Sydney – maybe even the oldest. I could look it up, but right now, I can’t be bothered.
Franky & Co are fairly new tennants at Roselands Shoping Centre. They have their standard cafe with coffee, doughnuts, canoli, sandwiches, etc.
When I got there, they didn’t have a big selection of doughnuts. I chose one with passion fruit icing.
I have always enjoyed their doughnuts, and this time was no different. It was fresh and soft and nice to eat. The passion fruit icing had that little bit of zing that passion fruit have.
It had a very slight oily after-taste, but otherwise it was a good doughnut.
Franky & Co are expanding and now have quite a few outlets around Sydney and beyond. You’ll always get a good doughnut at a decent price.
